Privacy & Terms

The boring stuff, kept brief.

We've tried to write this without the legal armour. If anything you're looking for isn't here, write us at office@deepseamedia.ca and we'll answer in plain language, fast.

01 What we collect

Only what we need to do the work.

When you book a call or email us, we collect your name, company, work email, optional phone number, and whatever you choose to put in the message. If you subscribe to the quarterly note, we store your email and signup date. The plan form temporarily saves your details in this tab for up to four hours so you can return without starting over. If you become a client, we also handle business information you share with us, financials, account access, performance data, to run your campaigns.

When enabled, Meta Pixel and the Conversions API measure page visits, applications, and bookings so we can understand our advertising. These tools may use cookies, browser information, and contact details matched to an event. We do not sell personal information.

For the Deep Sea Media and Benian campaign, we collect your first and last name, business name, email, mobile number, optional answer about your business, campaign source, and contact permission. We record the permission text, time and page URL. Twilio verifies possession of your phone through a texted code. This does not verify your name or your email address.

02 How we use it

To reply to you. To run your media. That's it.

Personal information you send us is used to schedule the call and follow up. Client business data is used to operate the platforms we run on your behalf, Meta, Google, TikTok, the rest. We share what's strictly necessary with those platforms (for example, your ad account ID or a conversion event), and never anything they don't require.

We do not sell, rent, trade, or “monetise” personal data. Not to brokers, not to ad networks, not to anyone.

03 Who sees it

Our team, and the tools we use.

Inside Deep Sea Media: only people who need to. Outside the company: a small list of operational vendors: Google Workspace for email and scheduling, Resend for transactional email, Stripe for card checkout, Vercel for hosting, our database provider, and the advertising platforms themselves. Card details are entered with Stripe. Each of them is a known, reputable provider with its own privacy commitments. We don't add new ones casually.

When you request contact through the Benian campaign, Deep Sea Media and Benian Technologies receive your details for the requested follow-up. Benian provides the AI-assisted calling service. Twilio handles phone verification and texts; Resend handles confirmation emails. Campaign contact records are kept for up to ninety days after their last update. We retain a separate record of your permission and a hashed phone identifier for two years. You can withdraw permission by telling the caller or emailing office@deepseamedia.ca. Reply STOP to stop texts.

Mobile information and SMS consent are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.

04 Your accounts, your data

You own everything.

Every ad account we set up is opened in your name. Media spend goes on your card, directly to the platforms, we never touch it. Audiences, pixels, conversion data, creative assets: yours. If we part ways, you keep all of it, with no friction from our side.

05 Your rights

Ask, and we do.

You can request a copy of the personal information we hold on you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email office@deepseamedia.ca. We'll confirm within two business days and complete reasonable requests within thirty.

If you're in a jurisdiction with specific data laws, GDPR in Europe, PIPEDA in Canada, CCPA in California, those rights apply by default.

06 Children

This isn't a service for children.

Our site is built for business decision-makers. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under sixteen.

07 Changes

If we change this, we'll say so.

Material updates to this policy will be noted at the top of the page with a revision date. The version you're reading was last updated September 11, 2026.

T1 Using this site

What you read here, what it isn't.

Everything on deepseamedia.ca is information about who we are and what we do. It isn't an offer, a guarantee, or financial advice. Numbers we cite, case studies, ranges, performance data, are accurate to the best of our knowledge at the time of writing, but every engagement is different and we don't promise replication of specific results.

T2 Engagements

The contract is the contract.

If we work together, the terms that govern our relationship are the ones in your signed engagement letter, not these. Those documents will spell out scope, fees, payment terms, confidentiality, and the rest. This page is for the website only.

T3 Trademarks

Their logos, ours.

Platform names and logos shown on this site, Meta, TikTok, Google, YouTube, Spotify, and the others, belong to their respective owners and are used here strictly to identify the channels we operate. We're not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of them. Our own marks belong to us.

T4 Contact

Questions go to one address.

Anything about this site, this policy, or working together, office@deepseamedia.ca. A real person, usually with a name, replies within four hours during business days.
